Where did you get this from? I've got the NFL Network on right now and they haven't gotten to the NFC yet, let alone the reserves, which I would think Jackson and Bulger would be.

Sorry Sam, you got it wrong. According to NFL.com, the following Rams made it:

    Torry Holt
    Marc Bulger
    Steven Jackson

Mike Vick didn't make it. It's Brees, Bulger, Romo. Jackson made it with Gore starting and Tiki.

Good to see these guys going to the Pro Bowl...I think Little truly deserves to go though...

Re: Rams in the 2006 Pro Bowl

Not surprised Little didn't make it. Not that he doesn't deserve it, but given how bad the Rams D has been, I would have been surprised to see any member make it to Hawaii.

Glad to see Bulger and Jackson make it. They truly deserve to be there. Holt has not had his best year, but its nice to see how much respect he has in the league.

One pick that makes me want to vomit - Tony Romo! If he were playing anywhere but Dallas, there's no way he makes it with only half a season as a starter. Guess with McNabb and Hasselbeck missing time due to injury, he was some sort of a default choice.

I'm surprised that Turk isn't an alternate also.

I agree with you about Little. I'm not surprised to see he didn't make it, but he definitely should have. 50 solo tackles, 12 sacks, and 6 forced fumbles is one hell of a stat sheet for a guy who isn't going to Hawaii as a starter.

Also agree about Bulger and Jackson. Those guys have been playing too well and too hard to not get invited. Glad they were recognized. As for Holt, he's had some uncharacteristic drops this year but still has double digit touchdowns and another 1,000 yard season.

I have to admit though, I voted for Romo. I just didn't see anyone else more deserving. I wasn't going to vote for an injured McNabb, Hass has had an off season, no way was I voting for Vick or Eli. Romo had a hot hand.

That's not the point though, there is nobody else to put in. Romo has played well, no other NFC QBs deserve to go in but somebody has to, so Romo is the right choice by default I believe.

    Hass - No
    Eli - No
    Delhomme - No
    Smith - No
    Kitna - No
    Favre - No
    Leinart - No
    Grossman - No
    Vick - NO

Then who do you vote in? The NFC quarterbacks were rather underwhelming this season, and Romo's 6-3 as a starter with a QB rating near 100. He deserves it more than any of the QBs in the NFC that didn't make it IMO.

Re: Rams in the 2006 Pro Bowl

    D'OH!!!

Boy, did I ever screw up.

I posted the names of the Rams who went to the Pro Bowl in 2006, not the one who WILL be going in 2007.

I should have known that I'd screwed up when I saw some of the names on there....

Just goes to show that I really need this 3 week vacation!!!!

Thanks for finding my errors. Now I feel kinda stupid.
