So what, thats my feeling. I suppose its a low risk deal, but I don't see aquiring another injury prone under-achiever as really upgrading anything. If people start falling like flies, I suppose we will need someone. My view is that we drafted some rookies, lets see what they got. That is going to be harder now. I also wanted to see what we have in DX. This really doesn't make too much sense. I can see going after an elite reciever, but not another guy full of question marks.

I suppose there is a slim chance this signing turns out to be a homerun, but I don't think this transaction does anything but give the young players less time to play.

I don't weigh in often at all, but I feel as though I must in order to make a record. The guy CATCHES TD's. I love this signing and I truly believe MSW is going to fit perfectly into this offense. Yes, I want to see Mark Clayton resigned, but even if not, I think our receiving corps is going to raise eyebrows this year. DX, DA, and MSW can and WILL be a threat combining for over 2K yards and 20TD's this year. I am an optimistic, but I will have this post to fall back on when optimism rings the bell!!!!

What you see is what you get, but what you see depends on where you stand.

Let's put it this way... if it ends up giving the rookies less time to play, it's because he's producing - doing well. And that wouldn't be a bad thing. Really, you could say that for any vet WRs trying to make the roster. No need to rush the new guys, they should get time to develop.

Ditto! I don't understand all the excitement over this guy. Thankfully it's a low risk and hopefully high reward. He'll have to prove me wrong but I've never been impressed with this guy.

We are grabbing a lot of moderately priced, but quite good, players. I'm ecstatic at the moves we've done today!
You are sooooo right. He was playing with Garrard and had some good numbers, imagine with Sammy boy.

63 catches for 869 yards and seven TD's in 09 with Garrard. Better stats than any receiver we have.

That's what I'm talking about! (The Jag's are my seconond favorite team) walker may not be a true number one, but he's damn close to it!

Interesting signing, and I like the contract length a lot. If there's one thing to consistently about our FO, it's that we don't make foolish offers.

MSW is a solid signing. Nothing to go over the moon about IMO, but certainly has the potential to be productive if McDaniels and company can tap into that. I think Sando makes a great point about it saying something that the Jags have seen him for a couple of years, have a need at the position, but aren't interested in keeping him around. But who knows, maybe a change of scenery and a new offensive scheme will get this guy motivated and playing to his skill level.

Speaking of MSW, here's him humiliating DRC. Looking forward to seeing him repeat that against Philly.

Why not exactly? If you make the statement, let's hear the reasoning..

Kid had a breakthrough season in 2009. Would have likely been even bigger last year if not for injuries and a staph infection.

He's big, fast enough, solid hands, and scores TD's. What is not to like?

Yeah, maybe not a marquee name, but a lot of upside. With Bradford pulling the trigger, the possibilities are exciting.
