Rams Agree to Terms with QB Fitzpatrick
Rams Agree to Terms with QB Fitzpatrick
Sunday, July 17, 2005
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has agreed to a three-year contract with the St. Louis Rams, the team announced today.
Fitzpatrick was the Rams’ first seventh-round selection (250th overall) in the 2005 NFL Draft. In his four-year career at Harvard, Fitzpatrick completed 384 of his 641 passes for 5,234 yards with 39 TDs and 15 INTs, and rushed 365 times for 1,487 yards and 16 touchdowns. Fitzpatrick, a first-team all-Ivy League selection and Ivy League Player of the Year as a senior, ranks second on Harvard’s career lists in pass completions, touchdowns, yards passing, and completion percentage (59.9). He also was the first quarterback in Harvard history to rush for at least 1,000 yards.
Fitzpatrick is the fourth Rams’ 2005 draft selection to come to terms, following fourth-round selection S Jerome Carter (signed on April 28th), seventh-round selection RB Madison Hedgecock (agreed to terms July 14), and fourth-round draft selection Claude Terrell (agreed to terms July 16).

Re: Rams Agree to Terms with QB Fitzpatrick
Very good, I was hoping for this! Now for the Jamie Martin pending question.
Could result in a Bulger / Smoker / Fitz lineup of Ram QBs.
Or perhaps a ... Bulger / Martin / Fitz?

The signings are just rolling in. Don't be surprised to hear of Barron's signing within the next week. Just a hunch.

ZZ, I would hope you are right but I doubt it. Until #1 or even the #5 sign, Barron has no clue on what to expect on a contract.
