Re: Rams back to LA rumor?
I feel for StL fans. If teams are to be moved, the Colts go back to Baltimore, the Cardinals back to Chicago, and the Rams back to Cleveland.
But given the drug-induced reality of that ever happening, I'll go with the Rams back to LA.
The Rams were the 1st to go west young man and started the trend of organizational disloyalty to their fan base. Might as well continue what they started.
So what excites me really about the rumor is not that another city gets screwed - again in this case; but, that a change in ownership should mean that both GeorgiaOnMyMind and ShawShank Redemption will be relegated to the dustbin.
The Rams SB win was the product of luck by Georgia and her boy toy - not football acumen. The sooner they're gone, the sooner the prospect of winning another SB will return.

Re: Rams back to LA rumor?
Perhaps if the Rams are moved to L.A. my fellow St. Louisans and I will get to see the St. Louis Stallions in action.
Then again, I've reached die hard level as a young Rams fan so a change of affiliation would be impossible. :mask:

I suppose if that were the case my new sig picture would be a little more relevant.

Re: Rams back to LA rumor?
Ah yes, the St. Louis Gunners and their 1-year existence (1934) who followed the St. Louis All-Stars (1923)...but here's the trivia question for the day? Other than all playing in St. Louis, what does the '23 St. Louis All-Stars, the '34 St. Louis Gunners, & the '04 St. Louis Rams all have in common?

Answer: Sean Landeta punted for all three.
Thank you folks. I'll be here all week, two shows on Saturday. Re: Rams back to LA rumor?
Sorry St. Louisians, but I would rather have the Rams back in L.A. More history and tradition. But, I think this "story" is loaded.

Re: Rams back to LA rumor?
Yes so much more history in L.A 1 superbowl lose and what 1 mvp after (eric dickerson, and it wasnt even the ap.. it was the sporting news) St.Louis on the other hand has had the only superbowl in for the franchise and another appearance along with THREE mvps.

Re: Rams back to LA rumor?
Rams back to LA would make total sense... if it does happen, they have to build a worthy stadium and with fans seated closer to the teams(maybe a retractable dome) . If its a move back to Anaheim then i'd say StLouis is a better option.

I didn't know that. Good thing I didn't put money on Marmielade. His ideas and methods seem to bridge that time span too.

Re: Rams back to LA rumor?
Attendance in the later years, yes. But, there were other years where attendance was good (from what I hear, I wasn't alive yet). The team sucked so people stopped showing up, that happens in every city. It is sad that a city that size did that though (which is why I don't understand the push for an LA team now). The history and tradition of the St. Louis era happened in 3 seasons though.
