Rams/Bears Set To Kick Off Pre-season Schedule

First game of the pre-season August 7, nationally televised against Chicago. I'd be excited if it wasn't for the lockout. After waiting so long for football, waiting to see what our rookies look like, waiting to see what the team looks like, it would be awesome to get the first game, for all to see in Prime Time. Hopefully things get straightened out and this game does not get bumped.

Mike I feel the same way you do. I was going to buy tickets to this game, hotel+flight, and to the hall of fame induction but if the lockout continues through no point in going...... I'll be so disappointed if this lockout doesnt get lifted by then!!! June 3 is the hearing let's see what happens.

Yeah I hope this lockout thing gets resolved before the game too, but I have absolutely no confidence it will.

I think whoever side the court rules for come this Friday will have so much leverage the other side will see that they just have to come to an agreement. But of course, this is just my opinion.

Ya your totally right. I really dont care who technically get's the "leverage" just as long as this stupid lockout is lifted. We need to get rolling..

I hate the lockout, but the lockout is way more interesting than pre-season games. They scare me to death; are boring and if you do happen to pay to see one in person you feel like you got jipped. No thanks.

    Tell me when they're over.

I hear what you're saying, but they are a necessary evil in the process of evaluating rookies in game situations and getting the roster in place.

Without the pre-season games, we would not have had Captain Kurt. Could Trent have done as much with the GSOT as Kurt did? No one will ever know, but he wasn't nearly as successful with KC as he was with the RAMS in pre-season. Kurt performed well with both the gnats and the tards, after the RAMS FO decided to toss him to the curb.
