Nick! My old friend, how are ya man? I guess my question is: what in the world COULD be missing to make this move?

Well I want to know if Green has anything left in the tank? If he does, the move might make some sense. If Darby or Obonnaya begin slipping I can see one of them being dropped for Green. Gado and Pittman will likely make the roster and Gado might as a back-up fullback. Bring Green in and use his pass blocking ability, and we have serviceable backup running backs with Gado, Pittman, Green, and whoever else. I feel that we should of heard the Rams are looking into a WR before a RB.

I just found this on Rotoworld:

"A deal between the Rams and free agent RB Ahman Green isn't imminent, but Green is on the team's "ready list" of potential players to consider if the team suffers an injury or decides to make a move.

Green worked out for the Rams on Wednesday. The four-time Pro Bowler has had serious knee trouble and at 32-years-old, it's unlikely he'd be able to produce much of anything behind Steven Jackson."
