Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams WR Isaac Bruce is expected to sign a contract extension with the team that will lower his current salary cap figure of $10 million.

Might not be a pay cut. The Rams could be changing some of his salary into a bonus, which would spread out over the length of the extension. So he'd still be getting his money, but it'd be in the form of a guaranteed bonus instead. If he takes a pay cut, more power to him.

This is news that I was looking forward to hearing.... Bruce will sign on for life and retire a Ram and an LA RAM at that!!!! it will be interesting to see his cap figure....:up: to the FO for recognising what Bruce has done for the Rams......hope it gets done real soon
