Arrow Rams Camp at a Glance: Aug. 7

Rams Camp at a Glance: Aug. 7

Injured: CB Jerametrius Butler (hamstring), LB Brandon Chillar (shoulder), TE Cam Cleeland (hamstring), CB Robert Cromartie (hamstring), CB Travis Fisher (knee), DE Anthony Hargrove (knee and ankle), FB Erik Jensen (knee), DT Jimmy Kennedy (foot), S Tom Knight (finger), DE Leonard Little (hamstring), LB Brandon Spoon (hamstring), OT Kyle Turley (back), C Dave Wohlabaugh (hip).

Absent: OT Orlando Pace (contract).

Today's schedule: The Rams and the Chicago Bears will scrimmage at 10:30 a.m. at Western Illinois University's Hanson Field. Some lawn tickets remain, at $10. For up-to-date information, call toll-free 1-866-726-7226.

Bits and pieces:

DE Leonard Little sat out Friday's practices with a tight hamstring.

RB Lamar Gordon was back on the field after missing a day of work with a sore ankle.

Defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy, who suffered a broken foot Thursday, has put off surgery while he seeks a second opinion. Kennedy, the team's first-round draft pick in 2003, is expected to be out for at least three months.

S Tom Knight had surgery Thursday night in St. Louis on the finger that he broke earlier in the day. Knight was back in camp Friday and should return to practice in a few days.

Overheard:

"We're just going to take a look at a bunch of our young players, some inexperienced players. Our veterans will probably do very little, if anything."
- Coach Mike Martz, on his plans for today's scrimmage.

"I feel like a wet dog on tile out there." - C/G Chris Dishman, on his first full-pads practices since last season.
"I've been teasing the guys. We probably have our quota right now."
- S Aeneas Williams, on the ex-Cardinals, himself included, on the Rams roster.

- Bill Coats
