Just another one of Linehan's picks that can't stay healthy.

That's right, I just opened that can again!

I absolutely think Carriker can be an impact player if he gets the chance. I just hope he isn't one of those players who, as HUb called it, is "snakebitten" thoughout their entire career and never gets that chance.

As if Dr. Linehan could tell. Typical hindsight type of spouge.

If AC proves to be healthy and contributes to a strong defensive front, is Linehan going to be given the credit? And why should anyone care, he's no longer around Rams park.

Gotta go close the barn door now. The horse is in the pasture, it died and its corpse is being tenderized.

    Can closed? :-)

Re: Rams' Carriker Returns To Practice

It seems many are ready to throw Carriker under the bus. Am I happy with his performance considered where he was drafted? Absolutely not. However, is it all Carriker's fault? Absolutely not ...

You really cannot control the kinds of injuries Carriker has had. From what I know, he was not an injury concern at Nebraska. He hit the pros, and unfortunately, he has had a string of bad luck. Adam is a high character guy, and he deserves to be given a few chances before he's kicked to the curb ...

Carriker is a high motor guy who gives it his all when he is on the field. It is yet to be determined if he has the talent to be an effective D-lineman at the NFL level. However, remember that Spags is a genius with D-lineman. If anybody can get the most out of Carriker, it is the man we have at the helm ...

If he can stay healthy, I think he has the right attitude and the desire to be a good or even great football player. It's a moot point if the ankle and shoulder keep giving him trouble. Unfortunately, these injuries are some of the worst a D-lineman could have ...

Well he's played with injuries before. That could reflect the "under performance."

I think he needs to stay healthy. Now if he goes down again, then I'd be worried. Calling him a bust will be excluded by me though. =/
