Rams: Carter strains Achilles' tendon
The News
Rams' defensive back Jerome Carter has seen better days. Just a few days after he was demoted from the starting strong safety role, the rookie strained his Achilles' tendon during the preseason game against the Lions on Monday, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. No word yet as to whether Carter will miss playing time because of the injury.
Our View
Carter lost the starting job when he struggled during the preseason game against the Chargers last week. As such, he has no fantasy value in leagues that award points for individual defensive players.
