1.) What's my line?

The Rams' starting offensive line was stellar Monday in Detroit. Can they keep it up against the Chiefs? RT Rex Tucker may play longer than other starters, simply because he still needs the work at his new position.

2.) What's my line, II?

Veteran John Parrella is competing with youngsters Jeremy Calahan and Brian Howard for what could be one roster spot at defensive tackle. Experience would seem to give Parrella the edge, but there are no guarantees.

3.) Secondary interest

CB Kevin Garrett, a fifth-round draft pick in 2003, is in danger of losing his job, particularly because coach Mike Martz said CB Terry Fair has made the squad. Garrett needs to make a statement tonight - or else.

4.) Backfield in motion

If the Rams keep only three halfbacks, Aveion Cason is in trouble. He has been unimpressive carrying the football and returning kickoffs this preseason. He too needs to make something happen.

5.) Last man standing

The release of Bryan Barker once again leaves Reggie Hodges as the only punter. But if Hodges struggles against KC, the Rams might scan the waiver wires for replacements after the final roster cuts Sunday.
