Re: Rams Day This Friday on NFL Network

Torry said it exactly right, the NFL Network should show more of the 1999-2001 Rams offensive highlights than they currently do. Watching clips of Tony Romo who has never gotten close to a Super Bowl & Peyton Manning who won only once and was humiliated two other times is boring. I'm not even going to mention the ***** who are on a downward spiral from what I can see.

    Go Rams!

Re: Rams Day This Friday on NFL Network

I am going to have to miss it because I don't have a cable subscription. I also couldn't find a stream for NFL Network. I am a sad ram today.

Re: Rams Day This Friday on NFL Network

Thanks Rambos! I would have missed it all if not for the heads up.

Starting in a few minutes is "America's Game - 1999 St. Louis Rams" Replays and interviews with the players tell the story of the Rams' 1999 Championship season that culminated with a Super Bowl victory over the Titans.

Then 2 hours later: "A Football Life - Kurt Warner" The career of Kurt Warner is documented, detailing his rise from Northern Iowa and stocking shelves to an illustrious NFL career with the Rams and Cardinals.

Right after is: "Marshall Faulk: Rush to Canton" Former running back Marshall Faulk's life and career are relived, as the retired player was born in New Orleans and went to college at San Diego State.

Followed by another showing of "America's Game - 1999 St. Louis Rams"

Then after an hour break it ends with "Super Bowl Classics - Super Bowl XXXIV" St. Louis Rams vs Tennessee Titans from Atlanta, Ga. Kurt Warner leads the Rams against quarterback Steve McNair and the Titans.

This could possibly be the best day of TV ever.

Re: Rams Day This Friday on NFL Network

Enjoyed the America's Game program despite having seen it before. Nice memories. I still get pissed at the end where Vermiel admits he regrets leaving. We might have been a dynasty. Instead we get Mad Mike, who was brilliant as a OC not an HC.

I always snicker at the clip of Jeff Fisher exhorting the Titans by claiming the Rams were on the sideline celebrating and he shouts that they should "beat that team". It does offer some insight into how Fisher led teams use their defense to wear down their opponents with physical play. Not news to anyone here, but interesting to see how 2014 plays out; especially after Vermiel comments on how coaches must be winners by their third season. Looking forward.

    Go Rams!

Faulk's run against the Browns in that clip is one of my all time favorite Faulk highlights. That is a barry sanders like run if ever there was one. I must have watched that play 250 times and i never get tired of it.

The Rams Grand Marshall of a memorable, once in a lifetime parade: The GSOT. What a spectacle it was!
