As a Rams fan I'm looking forward to......
Watching Avery progress. I was on hard on him during the draft, thought he went a little early for my taste. However, the boy has speed and didn't drop as many passes as I thought. He needs some route running improvement that's a given but all in all, I'm looking forward to seeing him become the deep threat he was drafted for.
Besides Spagnuolo, what are you looking forward to?

A Havoc Defensive Line......
Go Rams
Re: As a Rams fan I'm looking forward to......
I am looking foward to see who management bing in FA. Hopefully some D personnel.

I'm also looking forward to see Avery develop, and also Keenan Burton. A lot of people thought Burton would be even BETTER than Avery. Burton showed in college that he had nice return skills, and playmaking skills. Whether or not he can develop into a solid NFL receiver is what I'm looking forward to.
I'm also looking forward to seeing Long, Ryan, Carriker and Adeyanju progress under Spags coaching and guidance.
Basically I'm looking forward to seeing this team progress into a better football team.
Oh yea, and the draft, the off-season, and the SuperBowl.
Hope Kurt wins it, he deserves it. Amazing guy.

I am looking for a fairly officiated SB, and a KW win.
As far as the RAMS go... An injury free season for all key RAMS players, especially Pace and Jackson.
As far as the NFL goes. Restoration of the integrity of the league by doing something to improve the state of officiating. The questionable officiating, and certain teams that always seem to be on the + side of that, is the reason that I haven't put more effort into following football. I also have an 8 hour a day job, instead of the work-aholic atmosphere of my previous job.

I'm not sure the status of his contract, but I'm looking forward to the release of Drew Bennett. I'm also looking forward to draft day at the dome, if they do it again this year. Being able to walk out on the field was awesome! Tailgating in April was pretty great too!
Re: As a Rams fan I'm looking forward to......
I'm looking forward to a dominant team in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
Re: As a Rams fan I'm looking forward to......
I am looking forward to see who they will get as a middle linebacker.
Re: As a Rams fan I'm looking forward to......
As a Rams fan, I am looking forward to...
Marc Bulger's comeback season. He had a tough one last year. Given the fact that we are most likely upgrading the line and having Burton and Avery learn better route running, I'm hoping for Bulger to return to a good form.
Steven Jackson staying healthy. When Steven Jackson is healthy, the Rams are healthy.
Donnie Avery's second season. He came out solid his rookie season. Hope this offseason him and Burton can emerge into good players.
The defensive unit under the Spags. This is my focal point this year. We got a defensive minded head coach who leveled Tom Brady to win the superbowl. I would love to see Long, Ryan, Carriker and Little be a good force. I would also like to see a run stopping DT added to this team.
A true middle line backer added to the squad.
Tye Hill coming back and winning a starting spot. This guy was drafted for a reason, I want to see him earn it.
And finally, something any Ram fan wants. WINS. We need to freaking win.

Turning this ship around!
Re: As a Rams fan I'm looking forward to......
I'm looking forward to an improved defense that can handle the fundamentals of the game like lets say TACKELING
Re: As a Rams fan I'm looking forward to......
The new Fearsome Foursome!
Re: As a Rams fan I'm looking forward to......
I'm looking forward to our defence holding our opponents to under 20 points on a regular basis. If Spags can work his magic with our current youngsters (Long, Carriker, Ryan, Adeyanju, Witherspoon, Bartell, Hill, Atogwe) and we can add the right pieces via Free Agency (a top MLB) and the draft (SS), we could have a vastly improved defensive unit in 2009. That'll put less pressure on the offense.

I'm just looking forward to getting the next season started already. Footballs off season is just too long.
