Rams | Faulk remains undecided about 2006

Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams RB Marshall Faulk told reporters in New Orleans this past week that he's still thinking over his status for 2006. "I'm still a Ram; I'm still under contract," Faulk told the New Orleans Times-Picayune. "We'll see. It's hard to say. I haven't made any decision yet." Faulk said the only team he will play for is the Rams. Faulk still has three years remaining on a four-year contract extension he signed last February. If he retired, was released, or was traded, the Rams would absorb a cap hit of about $4.1 million in 2006.

As classy as Faulk is I think that he will return this year only so the Rams don't take that big of a cap hit and then we can fill some gaps with that money and maybe try to make another run at the Super Bowl.
