Rams and FSN Midwest Announce New Television Partnership

The St. Louis Rams and FSN Midwest announced today a new television programming partnership for the 2007-08 season. FSN Midwest will produce and air two Rams shows including Rams Weekly: All Access, a new show that brings fans closer to the team on and off the field.
“Our goal is to allow our fans an opportunity to get to know the people under the Rams’ helmets and inside the Rams’ family,” said James McCallum, St. Louis Rams Vice President of Business Affairs. “Whether it’s accompanying a player or cheerleader to a charitable appearance, taking a tour of a player’s house or going behind the scenes with front office personnel – Rams Weekly: All Access will take the public to places they’ve never been allowed to go before. Our fans are passionate about Rams’ football and this is a great vehicle to feed that passion.”
“We are proud to become the regional sports network home of the Rams,” said Jack Donovan, FSN Midwest General Manager and Senior Vice President. “Our Rams programming will give fans unique access to the team and is a great fit for FSN Midwest.”
FSN Midwest will air two new shows under the Rams Weekly banner:
•Rams Weekly: All Access – This official Rams show will be feature-driven and include highlights, a look at life behind-the-scenes with the team, profiles of Rams players and cheerleaders and coverage of team community initiatives. Rams Weekly: All Access debuts Sunday, Sept. 2. During September, the 30-minute show will air at varying times on Fridays and Saturday. From October-January, the show will air Fridays at 6:30 and 10 p.m.
•Rams Weekly: Postgame – Beginning Sunday, Sept. 9 and airing Sundays at 10 p.m., Rams Weekly: Postgame will deliver an in-depth recap and analysis of each Rams game.
This Sunday’s debut episode of Rams Weekly: All Access includes:
•A tour of the well-decorated home of defensive lineman La’Roi Glover
•A day in the life of linebacker Chris Draft and seven of his teammates as they take trucks full of cold water to St. Louis neighborhoods and promote the importance of hydration as summer temperatures reach record highs
•A feature on equipment manager Todd Hewitt, who takes viewers into the Rams locker room and shows what it takes to prepare for a game at the Edward Jones Dome
•A peek at the making of the Rams cheerleaders calendar, which benefits the St. Louis Rams Foundation
FSN Midwest’s Rams programming will be hosted by FSN’s Pat Parris, Jim Hayes and Joel Goldberg.
