Rams guarantee sellout; TV blackout avoided
By Bill Coats
ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH
For the second consecutive week, the Rams have ensured that a home game will be televised locally by guaranteeing the NFL in writing that all tickets will be sold by kickoff Sunday.
NFL rules mandate that games be sellouts 72 hours before kickoff to avoid a local blackout. The deadline for Sunday’s game against the San Francisco ***** arrived at noon Thursday.
"What this mean is that we will allow the public to purchase tickets until kickoff," said Michael Naughton, the team’s vice president of ticketing and finance. "Any remaining tickets will be bought by Rams ownership."
About 950 tickets were available for the game, which will air on KTVI (Channel 2).

Those remaining tickets, I think, will be gone by Saturday night.
Give every single fan a bull horn or, a Ram horn or, a foghorn; turn up the stadium audio system to its max. and shout it out this Sunday:
GO ... R A M S !!!... :bash:
