Nick Wagoner, of StLouisRams.com, reports the St. Louis Rams have hired free agent head coach Jim Haslett (Saints) to become the team's defensive coordinator. Haslett signed a three-year contract, but financial terms were not disclosed. Head coach Scott Linehan said he would expect to see the Rams use a 3-4 defense in third down and sub package opportunities instead of the basic nickel and quarter packages.
