    Rams have signed Jeff Robinson

My friend who is a Cowboy fan said that on the Dallas COwboys talk show they reported that Jeff Robinson signed with us. I'll give you a link later.

Re: Rams have signed Jeff Robinson

I've heard rumblings that it was reported on KFNS that the Rams have released Jerome Collins. This would open up a spot for Jeff Robinson.

If this be the case, then welcome back big guy! Our red zone offense just got a bit better.

Wonder whom MM wants as the long snapper Massey or Robinson. When I reported Robinson being cut I made a gaff saying Massey was okay. Then I had to retract by saying good and doing the Massey shuffle. Also I wonder if the big guy still has some TE left in him. He did not see a lot of action at TE for Dallas they are deep at the position.

Interesting indeed. Are we trying to produce a Déjà Vu?

I’m very glad to finish up my career and be able to be a Ram doing that. --Jeff Robinson

Thanks for the heads up on this, RF16.

Why do we need a 35-year-old long snapper when we already have a 25-year-old long snapper?

    1. Mike Martz is getting sentimental.

    2. Martz wants to prove he's made a commitment to special teams, though this would be a bit much.

    3. Jerome Collins wasn't ready to be part of the 53-man roster.

    I think it's 3, but I'm not sure.

Re: Rams have signed Jeff Robinson

I think you would all agree that having Robinson on our roster is a great upgrade over Collins. Although Jerome is still young, he did not show us anything positive in the pre-season. As for Chris Massey, I think it's his job to keep. He has been perfect till now so there would be no reason to replace him for Jeff. As always...

    GO RAMS!!! :clanram:

i personally am scratching my head on this 1! We already have a long snapper so what do we really need with another? I like JR but, we could used the spot to sign other needs!
