Rams have "strong interest" in James Hall

    From the Detroit news.

The St. Louis Rams apparently have a strong interest in Hall because of the pass-rush skills he has shown at times. Hall had a career-high 11.5 sacks in 2004 but only five in each of the last two seasons. Hall missed the last nine games of the 2006 season because of a torn rotator cuff that required surgery.
Hall would be a good veteran pickup.

A good signing, he could come in and start while The Rams develop some young talent.

Hmm Michigan ram fan, and while I didn't consider him the weakness of the lions by an means he is not really that great of a player, a few blown assignments and don't forget he has had guys like Rogers, redding, and other good help around him. depth for the right price yes, starter I don't see it

It's all going to depend on what the Lions want for him, considering he's still under contract and is not a free agent.

The lions would also like to trade if they can or maybe release DT Marcus Bell. I think he would make a good role player at the NT position where he can play on running downs and Kennedy on passing downs

Hall had 5 sacks in 7 games last year before injury. He would be a good guy to get to play across from Little.
