St. Louis Rams rookie OL Richie Incognito (knee) began practicing with the team for the first time Thursday, Oct. 20 as he recovers from kneecap surgery. He is on the non-football injury reserve list and can now practice with the team for three weeks before the Rams must decide whether to put him on the active roster or place him on Injured Reserve for the rest of the year.

Re: Rams Incognito Begins Practicing
I say bring him along slow.... Be cautious.
Realistically, we are not going to fix the Defensive problems (most points allowed in NFL) this year.
Working with the coaches is important, but they shouldn't take any chances of him getting reinjured.

Re: Rams Incognito Begins Practicing
I'm very confident in what I heard Joe Vitt say about Rich. Have him make a slow come back until he his 110% and then let the best Olineman in the draft (a steal
) come and try a few plays. Like I said when he his 110%

Re: Rams Incognito Begins Practicing
I want to see this kind on the field at either Guard or Center this year. He is amazing. He was the best O-Lineman in the draft based on pure talent. Think of that. Three Rookies all on the line, all dominant. If only the defense would try this method.

Re: Rams Incognito Begins Practicing
The defense does not want to try the rookies out. They would rather lose by 45 points with the old farts.

Re: Rams Incognito Begins Practicing
Actually, part of the issue on defense is that the guys arent old farts necessarily, many are young #1 picks that arent getting it done as hoped, ie kennedy, lewis, arch. fisher is a young #2 pick.

Re: Rams Incognito Begins Practicing
Or we could look at it this way, the rookies have shown in practice they are even more lost than the veterans who take the field every Sunday.

Re: Rams Incognito Begins Practicing
aw come on GC, you just gotta pick on my words. I know there are not a bunch of old farts out there.
I like to over exaggerate things some times. It is much more fun that way.
So are we going to see Bartell and OJ in the game anytime soon?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Re: Rams Incognito Begins Practicing
I wasn't expecting Richie to be anywhere near the practice field this season. This is some interesting news.
