Some positive news regarding the coaching search. Schwartz' units for the Titans have been particularly dominant as of late.Quote:

Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports the St. Louis Rams are interested in Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz to be their next head coach. The team is not expected to interview him this week.
This may not be a bad move, he should bring in plenty of discipline which is what we need at this point. Being around Jeff Fisher should rub off on him in a positive way.Quote:

The only negative I've heard about him is his cockyness, but that is probably a media person who got snubbed by him. He would be a real prize for us.

im goin on the principle that the coaches the rams are interested in are the ones that have been contacted by the rams..not some "news" departments speculative statements on who they interested in..they have a weeks window to get an interview in...if they interested in him,why isnt there a report saying that theyve lined up an interview?
We can't interview the guy yet. He's got to focus on the play offs. After they are done, then we will get the interview.

I agree with MOG's statement, if you want to be around winners become 1, if you want a football team with heart, bring attitude. It would be a shame if he doesn't get an intervew.
If he can bring a bunch of titans players with him, he will help us a lot defensively. Otherwise, like all other coaches we can hire, he is going to need a LOT better players to make us competitive defensively. I dont believe that any of these guys as coordinators are better than haslett but i do believe that they have a lot more talent. Give Haslett Albert Hainseworth for starters and his coaching will look a lot different.
