Re: Rams Jerseys Remembered. Part II / IV: Numbers 26 - 50.

Perhaps retiring after 14 NFL seasons, Al Harris played CB w/the Rams CB last year, jersey No. 31.

Re: Rams Jerseys Remembered. Part II / IV: Numbers 26 - 50.

One of my favorite LBs in the Rams D### of the 60s was Jack Pardee (1957-70, sans '65). Hard nose football player, for sure. Good ball scanner too, 17 INTs as a Ram. My salute to this No. 32.

Re: Rams Jerseys Remembered. Part II / IV: Numbers 26 - 50.

With No. 43, we have Jerry Richardson, playing DB with the Rams in 1964. Remember Greg Bell? 'Very good RB that succeeded under HC John Robinson's regime in the late 80s; jersey No. 42. Wearing No. 41 in the old school Rams of the early 50, including the '51 NFL Champion team was Glenn Davis.

Greg Bell, Rams RB 1987-89. Jersey No. 42.

Just added RB Jerious Norwood who came to the Rams last year w/No. 34. 'You're on the list!

Then Cadillac Williams, RB, is also placed today on 'The List', No. 33; he too arrived in 2011.

Re: Rams Jerseys Remembered. Part II / IV: Numbers 26 - 50.

Receiver (or 'end' as they were called in old school football) Jim Benton was terrific. He played his last NFL years with the Rams (both in Cleveland and L.A. [LA Rams 1946-47]), wearing No. 49. First player to catch 300 yards is a game. Clic on image at bottom.

Also with No. 49 was Rod Perry, a very good DB of the mid 70s, early 80s. Almost got that SB ring! A few years later CB Mickey Sutton donned that jersey number. Had four INTs for the Rams.

Classic Rams jersey No. 49 of the early 50s.

Re: Rams Jerseys Remembered. Part II / IV: Numbers 26 - 50.

DB Willie Daniel played his last three years with the Rams (1967-69) as part of ST and of that superb defense we had back then. Jersey No. 46.

    Daniels, ca. 1968.

At TE -- during those few years when it seemed we had more tight ends than OL -- with No. 46 also was Daniel Fells (2008-10). I kind of liked this player with the Rams.

Clendon Thomas played HB/DB his first four years in the NFL with the L.A. Rams (1958) with No. 46.

Re: Rams Jerseys Remembered. Part II / IV: Numbers 26 - 50.

Chris Massey, Rams 2002-10, No. 45. Very consistent LS in NFL. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Massey, blue collar best.

Mike Dennis, Rams RB in 1968. >>>> Rams Todd Lyght, fine DB from 1991-00. No. 41.
    ------- -
    The following season Dennis'
career was over due to injury.
No. 43 only played one year.

No. 45: Jim Bertelsen, Rams RB / strong blocker, 1972-76.

One of our HOF Rams, Elroy Hirsch was a true NFL icon. He played with us from 1949-57. No. 40.
