Rams Just Keep Winning

I guess the trend for Rams wins this season is barely squeaking by the opponents, but coming up with big defensive plays to preserve the win. Against the Pack, we almost let up a game-tying FG or game-winning TD, but a game saving sack by kennedy and the recovery by Butler led us to another win by a small margin. I was not impressed by our red zone offense and we need to punch it in in order to put our opponents away, but Steven Jackson, Bulger, and our defense did enough for us to win.

I too was disappointed in the play calling on the last two series...We need to come up with some better plays to maintain drives and run out the clock...

I did not like the play calling either near the end I would have prefered a short pass to Jackson. Jackson and the OL have not been able to grind time off the clock with first downs. When the other team knows we are in a running situation Jackson and the OL do not pick up the yards. They are not able to play smash mouth football. We have a big RB that needs to catch the ball in space. He is unable to power it through the line. That is why they tossed the ball to Jackson when we need three yards and the other team is keying in on the run. They did not feel comfortable running it inside. I like the season Jackson is having and I am satisfeid with his development in all facets of the game. I would like to see him develop into more of a power back that can gain the two and three yards that are tough to get.
