Rams, KTVI-TV, Fox 2 Partner On Multi-Year Deal

ST. LOUIS – The Rams and KTVI, FOX 2 have signed a multi-year deal for a broad range of televisions programs and coverage. The programming will center on the Rams pre-season games and the Scott Linehan Coach’s Show. Several special event shows will support the Rams year-round presence in St. Louis, beginning with the 2006 Draft, training camp and the Rams kick-off event in September. FOX 2 will also broadcast a pre-season show before each pre-season game.

“The Rams are pleased to announce our exclusive local programming platform with KTVI, FOX 2 to supplement the national NFL/FOX television package,” said Rams President John Shaw. “This multi-year agreement demonstrates the collective commitment of the Rams and KTVI, FOX 2 to the St. Louis community and our loyal fans.”

FOX 2 kicked off its Rams coverage Saturday, April 29, with its live Draft Day Special starting at 6 p.m. Sports Director Martin Kilcoyne hosted this exclusive behind-the-scenes look at draft day, talking Rams fans inside the war room for insight from players and coaches.

“FOX 2 is thrilled to partner with the Rams in bringing the St. Louis fans the best in Rams coverage,” said Spencer Koch, vice president and general manager of FOX 2. “With the Coach Linehan Show, special programs throughout the preseason, four preseason games, plus 13 out of 16 regular season games, the fans will know where to turn for complete coverage from the ‘Home of the Rams.”
