Rams lead the NFL in sacks ...

Yes, the entire NFL. We have 28.0 sacks, tied for 1st with Green Bay ...

Only allowing opponents to convert 32.5% of 3rd downs, good for 4th, that is amazing ....

Chris Long summed it up best, we lost this game against S.F. because of the big plays we gave up ...

Coming into the game, we had given up 6 plays of 30+ yards all year ...

This game we gave up 5 plays of 30+ yards, and 11 plays of 20+ yards ...

Fact is, the coaching staff was unprepared for this onslaught, particularly the damage done deep by TE's and RB's. S.F. has been a downhill running team all year, and they took the opportunity to destroy us by coming out with a deep passing game that we had no answer for ...

Good thing is, I think this is easily correctable ....

I agree it is easily correctable.. I think the main thing about this was Spags starting Dockery over Fletcher.. I still am utterly speechless about why Greco was inactive and Dock started over Fletcher.. "If it ain't broke... DON'T FIX IT!"

Always appreciate the stats that I don't have to go dig up myself somewhere! Kudos. (must spread the rep around)

What a complete turnaround for our d-line this year. They are so much fun to watch.

Chris Long is a damned wrecking machine. At first I thought he'd end up being a very good DE. Now I think he can become an elite DE ....

if it is so easily correctable how come they didn't make that adjustment at halftime.

ummmmm because they didn't take Dockery out... as I said in my post, this game wouldof been different if Fletcher was starting...

If I had a quarter for every time they mentioned Chris Long's name during the game, I'd be quite a few dollars richer. The announcer kept saying that they needed to double team him, and that getting a hit on him with a TE might be necessary.

Because Bradley Fletcher parked in Spagnuolo's spot.

/Any better ideas for why Dockery kept playing, and is also apparently still "competing" for a start next week.

I am very impressed with what Spags has done with the Defense. One more draft and free agency and this unit will be amazing top 5 in the league.

But here is another statistic for you, we lead the league with 86 penalties. That is something that cant happen in order for this unit to become elite and I am sure that Spags will take care of it.

Well, I'm going to play bad cop because I don't think its an easy fix at all. I think its a sign of things to come, due to the fact our secondary has been overachieving beyond belief. I have a bad feeling that roddy white is going to do bad things to bartell.

you never park in the HC's spot, but hopefully he gets back in there and plays
