Well if Pace is done for the year, our season is pretty much over.

Re: Rams LT Orlando Pace done for the year

I didn't buy him as a quarterback. He's just so stiff, especially when he drops back to pass. Really stiff. He reminds me of Kurt Warner.

Hopefully this doesn't lead to Bulger getting hurt.

Re: Rams LT Orlando Pace done for the year
Even with Pace not as stellar as usual this year, a veteran team leader like OP will hurt our offensive live and most definitely our slim playoff hopes.

Re: Rams LT Orlando Pace done for the year
Goldberg is worse than Pace, but from what I'm seeing lately, not by much. Pace has not played well this season, he's living as much on reputation by now as performance IMHO. And since we're already talking O-line, what the hell is up with Barron, I don't give a damn how nervous he is, he is the leading player in the league in false starts both this season and last! Barron you fool, don't take chances like that, especially since you don't even need the extra step to win your battle! They should seriously knock some patience into Barron's head, I don't care if he waits a little too long and loses half a step on his guy, it's better than false starts every other drive!!

Re: Rams LT Orlando Pace done for the year
with all due respect, goldberg isnt in the same league as pace. pace, as a function of prior performance, wasnt having a good year. he is still a very good player. Notice what happened to our protection after he left the game today.
By the way, with this loss, the season was over anyway as a practical matter, with or without pace.
time to face reality. our defense is pathetic, our offensive line needs help or coach is very inexperienced. we lost to a team without two o line starters, its qb, mvp running back and still found a way to give up about 200 yards of rushing yards and lose.
its ridiculous to use pace as a scapegoat.
ramming speed to all

Re: Rams LT Orlando Pace done for the year
Pace - filet mignon.
Goldberg - ground chuck.
On its best day, ground chuck is still no filet mignon.

Re: Rams LT Orlando Pace done for the year
Who's talking about scapegoat? I don't think anyone is claiming Pace cost us the game/season here. You have to be able to call out a guy who's not pulling his weight without being accused of making someone a scapegoat, regardless of how good that player has been in previous seasons. I think Pace was slowing down already before this injury, he hasn't played that well this year. Is he better than anyone else we have, of course, but he has not shown Pro Bowl caliber play this year. If it wasn't for the false starts I would say Barron just might be our best player on the O-line right now. That's my opinion, noticably devoid of scapegoats.
