Man one of my favorite things to do is beat people who use the Patsies and the 'Girls on LIVE with the "lowly" Rams. Its not about the stats my friends, its about the man behind the sticks.

Foster is rated better than Burton ... Kyle Boller only a 51??? ... Incognito looks under-appreciated again, but maybe that's just me :D ... J. Wade is a tad low at 53 ... other than those I don't have many problems with 'em.

True that. Player ratings are overrated, anyway. It's all about playcalling, quick decisions and joystick skills.

I think I read where they are wanting to give more lower ratings to players this year rather than just assigning everbody a 60 or 70 if they haven't played much or something like that.
I haven't updated my Madden since 07 anyway, lol. If I were to get an Xbox 360 I'd consider getting Madden 10 though.

All I have to say is, Damn they are hating on the Rams!

Man...that's embarrassing! The overall team rating must be like 60. :D

Those are some brutal rankings. Just brutal.

Yeah that must be the case. The latest Madden that I have is '08 (the last one they made for PC - I don't own a console, any way each year's edition was pretty much identical to the year before, it ended up not being worth buying (they should have sold them for $10 IMO - with the amount of new content they brought each year!)) - and in terms of the ratings that I'm used to, these ratings look completely catastrophic pretty much across the board. Hopefully it's because they adjusted everyone down a bit, because a team like the one above would be worse than any team I've seen in a Madden game before.

You got it Keenum. The goal that they set for this year was to spread out the ratings rather than just using the top 40%(60+) of the spectrum. Now they want someone in the 90's to actually be an elite player, rather than one who's 95+ or so. That way the ratings will actually mean a lot more because the overall averages at the position are lower.

So yes, the Rams ratings will be lower, and most of the rest of the league will be lower as well, though I'm sure the Pats will be all 90's again... Bellicheatriots...

It's a stat for power running backs, basically their ability to run people over. The power backs probably have high trucking ratings but low elusiveness ratings.

hehehe a little franchise mode can always make the numbers go up to :D .. Whatever the ratings are I will be there salivating since 11:10pm waiting outside.. just like every other year. And while I know this is a rams board I cannot help but say YES! I was just looking at the specific stats and there's some definite strange things going on... Kyle Boller? He has a freaking 54 for throwing accuracy? That has to be a typo or someone has a man hate going on for Boller, he's not that bad.

This is the first year in a long time that Madden is going to be a rent for me. Tired of buying it out of loyalty year after year only to end up with an inferior product that collects dust on the shelf.
