Rams and Madden

Just got to play the new Madden and let me tell you...THE RAMS ROCK!!

Played two games and noticed...
Jackson is the real deal
no one can stop our receivers
defense much improved (Little and Arch were man children)
line is shaky
Fisher made 4 int's in 2 games
Hargrove is way below where he should be
The two back sets are awesome

With the little time I have had to play...the Rams are a big upgrade from last season.

I got it yesterday and played the shehawks. Killed them 31 -6; Curtis had 109 yrds and 3 TD's.

I think the new passing thingy makes it a little too easy to throw. I don't like that you cannot make the adjustments on D to blitz or cover at the line of scrimage.

I did throw 5 picks, and fumbled a punt return. (dam Cason) :tut

I agree, But, even with Hardgrove and Big Bear being underrated, they did a nice job against the hawks o line.

Little had 4 sacks and a forced fumble, AH had 3 sacks and man handled Alexander when he went to his side.

Claiborn was all over the field as was Five-O.

Stone is the starting FS and had 3 picks including one for a TD.

SP is ok, punter is Hodgens, not too bad, I had several punts of 50.

Too bad he can't do that in practice.

I got it Monday night and have been playing it quite a bit. The team looks pretty good. Obviously there are some player ratings i disagree with, so I just update the ratings myself across the league. My question is what's with these white pants? Did I miss something about the Rams changing pants colors? EA completely eliminated the blue jersey gold pants combo from the game!

I'm getting it next week in PC version... I've been playing in leagues... like this one, www.mflballers.com ... 32 owners get together and play against each other using real NFL schedule and upload stats on the site... It's pretty cool... You must have yahoo to participant... Been doing this since madden 2k2... It's better than playing against CPU or other "cheesers" or "quitters"... Anyone in any leagues?

I should be getting the game soon. They underrated Bulger again, but hoepfully that will change after this season.

I haven't played Madden in three years. The ESPN series was truly the best football game out there. With Madden there were just too many unrealistic A.I. and gameplay issues. My favorite was dropping the QB back 20 yards and throwing off his back foot for a completion. The ratings were always askew, too. Personally I believe that overrating the teams is a marketing ploy. No one wants to buy a game in which their team isn't any good.
Anyway, enough of the bashing. I haven't played this years Madden yet but will rent it soon enough. Since EA bought the exclusive rights to the NFL license, Madden is the last game standing. Not to worry, though. I'm in year 2022 in my ESPN 2k5 franchise.

Guess I'll have to get it also.I hated the kicking team and punting on 2005.always kicked out of bounds and got a penalty.Hope this is not the case with Madden 06.
