Re: Rams May Have a Healthy QB Duel in 2013
I do apologize for disagreeing with the 'literati' on this Board a.k.a. the Sam Bradford Absurd Defense Fund (SBADF). I'm sure that no one else in his/hre right mind would be audacious enough to do so ever again. Well, maybe not! We have a pre-season and regular-season on the horizon, and as you know opinions are like...Well you know. Everybody has one. I'll check in occasionally!

Re: Rams May Have a Healthy QB Duel in 2013
This is starting to sound rather familiar. My geography is a little hazy; how far is Toronto from Peoria ?

Re: Rams May Have a Healthy QB Duel in 2013
Its the 2013 NFL..If Davis is better than Bradford I'm sure he will become our starter. Until then, NO we don't have a duel.
Do I respect Austin Davis? Yes
Do I want him to be the best backup in the league? Yes
If he turns out better than Bradford and a great qb in the league. Will I support him to be our starting qb? Yes
Other then that, this is a very dumb thread, because there is no duel. I want austin davis to do good. But.. what you need to realize like I said earlier.. in the 2013 nfl, if your backup qb is a star caliber qb, it won't take long for that to be discovered. But until then, there is no "duel"
Tried to reply normal as possible without going avenger style as I saw earlier in this thread (almost did). Sorry if my above post doesn't make sense.

Re: Rams May Have a Healthy QB Duel in 2013
Well Bradford had a few years to prove himself. He has potential but needs to just find it. That's all or he will be a goner!

Re: Rams May Have a Healthy QB Duel in 2013
I just think it's crazy how people go from Davis replacing Clemens as a QB duel between Bradford and Davis.
Fisher is a conservative coach. Barring injury Davis won't be seeing any starts.
That said, everyone loves the element of mobility that Austin provided and I do think that if Bradford can't be at the top of his game in 2013 and getting the most out of the talent around him to the best of his own skill set, the Rams will at least be looking for a less expensive version of what Sam has been accomplishing in St. Louis.

Re: Rams May Have a Healthy QB Duel in 2013
For those who wish to understand the difference between legitimate criticism of our QB, and mere "Bradford bashing," this thread is a good point of reference.

Re: Rams May Have a Healthy QB Duel in 2013
WHATEEEEVER! Perhaps you can't stand anyone even remotely questioning our QB 'sitiation.' Actually it's sad in a forum that is supposed to be an opportunity for people to express their opinions. Guess it's not legit to do so. IMHO, when I am offended by something that someone says I ignore it and don't respond. It works pretty well. As you can see I'm not offended by anything you've had to say, so I'm responding.

Re: Rams May Have a Healthy QB Duel in 2013
Pray tell, which one is it IYHO? The thread started with an article by B. Miklasz in the St. Louis Post Dispatch, not with some inane blog somewhere. And, the interesting situation at QB for the Rams in 2013, especially if Bradford has a hiccup or two, is going to continue to be a topic of discussion in fan forums and in the media.

Re: Rams May Have a Healthy QB Duel in 2013
I've got news for you... "inane" and "Miklasz" are hardly antonyms.
And while anything - no matter how moronic, baseless, dishonest, juvenile or unwarranted - can be "a topic of discussion in fan forums and in the media" the real question is, will this be a topic of discussion at Rams' Park?
Spoiler Alert...
No.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!
