Moose I am almost right there with you, but it has been the best off season in a couple of years in regard to discussion on this site, and I am not sure I could deal with another summer of No News!

Going back to JK's question I am not sure that the League would let the Rams go anywhere else, beside maybe back to LA. I mean this stuff is getting out of hand. Does a team move every time it goes through a "bad cycle" or just because the stadium can't compare to the new Dallas digs? I would think they would really start losing the hard core fans if they start doing that....

    Re: Rams not for sale

Rosenbloom explained that Moag was employed to field the many inquiries that
had been swamping him and Rams president John Shaw.

"We finally said, 'You know what, this is not how we want to spend eight hours
a day. We need somebody to handle them,'" Rosenbloom said. "It would be totally
inaccurate to say (Moag) is searching for buyers. ...

"We did not authorize (Moag) to go out and say, 'Hey, the team's up for sale.'
It's simply returning these people's phone calls."
That's the biggest bunch of BS I've ever heard. How many people out there have the kind of money lying around and the desire to buy a team? I can't imagine that many people are bugging them to buy the team. And how long does it take to say, "The Rams are not for sale. Thank you. Goodbye"?

He then goes on to say:
"It's the same as it's been," Rosenbloom said. "If the right person at the time
right time with the right price came, I suppose that you might sell your house,
right? So, I don't say never. ... If we get a phone call today from somebody
who says the right things, we would listen. And that's why Moag is there."

Said Shaw: "If (Rosenbloom) received an offer he couldn't refuse, he'd have to
    consider it."
So obviously the Rams are most definitely on sale, they're just holding out for a better offer.

    Re: Rams not for sale

Overheard at the Beverly Hills offices of CHip Rosenbloom....

"Chip here".."no the team is not for sale"...
"Hello, Chip here"..."No we are not for sale"..
"Hello, yes this is Chip Rosenbloom." NO the Rams are not for sale, gosh, quit calling me"...

"Hello...HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY WERE NOT FOR SALE!"

"that's it! I'm getting an answering service, this is too much work!!!"
