Don't fool yourselves. Arizona is going to be TOUGH because there goin' to the Super Bowl with all that talent.

    Kidding

New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Baltimore, Cincinnati and Dallas on the road.
That scares me, Tampa Bay will be tough next year I believe when all healthy, New Orleans will be tough again (2nd year with Sean Payton), Baltimore ... Self explain, Cincinnati with an improved D will be VERY tough and Dallas will be tough as usual in Dallas too.

The way Jackson destroyed the leagues best run defense in our last game this year means i dont really fear playing good defenses anymore. With Jackson's running and our awesome pass attack, what have we to fear? I fear playing teams with good offenses more then playing good defenses.

    Fear itself?

If we've learned anything from the 2000's version of the NFL, it is that the pecking order at the beginning of January is worlds different than the pecking order come next September. Our schedule could be the toughest in the land, or the biggest cakewalk this side of the annual Jenny Craig marathon.

We won't know until next September.

That's exactly right, you can't properly evaluate opponents for next year until September, after free-agency and the draft..Even then you get surprise teams like New Orleans this year and not many ppl would have predicted an 8-8 season for the defending SB champion Steelers..So much has to do with injuries as well,it is really a week to week thing..Take 1 game at a time..:l

If the O-line & D-line issues are not addressed , We can look to be 0-16, or at least in the cellar. the schedule doesn't look all that tough but we need havoc reeking D-line men and some big push O-line men. I know we were in bad shape with injuries ,but what the hell, where's the back ups that can really do the job. Oh and Kennedy is gone, if he is back next year I may have to sit out this 07 season!:x

What we need to do is get to a point at which we no longer care who is on the schedule. That's how I felt a few years ago, particularly at home.

Looking back over the schedule we could have a hard time, especially with a lot of teams having the potential to improve. In fact after FA and draft i think the games against Seattle could be the easiest!

    Re: Rams' opponents for 2007

Hey guys lets be realistic. There are no easy games in the NFL. I see our opp for 2007 and think we could go 10-6 or 6-10. I think the yardbirds are on the way up. The whiners are getting better and the Seabirds have a hex over us right now.

Without significant improvement form our D-line we will have another year like this one. I like what our O-line looked like at the end of the year and Pace will be a huge impact. As sad as I am to say the Doughnut Bros need to be at Dunkin Doughnuts next year.

But on defense I see that we have good outside backers but we need someone like say London Fletcher in the middle. I hear he is very uhappy the Bills did not extend him and will make himself available. I would be happy to welcome him back with a 2 year contract. We also need to get some DT's who can get the job done every play.

Without D-line and without stopping the run at least a little we are stuck on Groundhog day!!!
