    Rams point differential (1990-2013)

Here's the top 5 Point Differentials for the Rams since 1990:

    1. 1999 - (+284)
    2. 2001 - (+239)
    3. 2003 - (+119)
    4. 2000 - (+69)
    5. 2013 - (-8)

    A couple of points here:

    1) We've sucked some kind of awful since 1990. My proof? We've only had 4 positive differentials in 24 seasons.

    2) This team has progressed a lot in the past few years. The average point differential from 2007-2011 was (-184.4). Had it not been for a decent 2010 point dif. (-39), that number would have been (-221)!! But after a (-214) in 2011, Fisher comes in and puts up a (-49) in 2012 and currently has a (-8) this year.

That's not world beating......but it's moving in the right direction.

I was just looking at this the other day....and did notice the progress......We stand a chance....a chance of a positive margin this year.......

weird though how the rams started at a lower point than all of last year,

the lows were lower than last year, but the highs were higher than last year...

    eek lol

I would like to think that next year ( and the forseeable future)should definitely be positive differential because the offense should be a notch better next year and the defense gets even more experience in the same system.

A "softer" schedule helps also, but there are no gimmies in the NFL for the most part.
