Rams predicted to beat the cards

Also Mike Golic, marcus allen, and adam schefter also predict the rams so hopefully our boys live up to it.

I'll definitely take Golic over Greeny every day of the week and twice on Sundays, and Rammer, EVERYONE has a record of wrong picks. You make a very good point though, and that's that we need to make it happen out on the field. I'm just impressed with how everyone isn't already writing us off just because we're the Rams.

Yes, we look like a much better team than last year, but I think a lot of people have went in to "panic mode" for Arizona, which is partially why teams are saying the Rams will win. I actually think we have a great shot, but don't forget, Anderson was pretty good for a year there in Cleveland, and they still got Fitzgerald.

Their D has talent, but hopefully their defense will play like they did in the playoffs last year and we can hang 40 on them

Phil Simms picked The Rams as his upset of the week.I have mixed feelings about that; on the one hand, he sucks at predicting but the rest of them; Sapp, Collinsworth & Brown, didn't laugh at him for it & they pummel the guy constantly about everything he says. They sounded a little surprised but with a hint of "Hmmmm...interesting..."

I think SJ's right; we are getting a little too over-amped about this game & what it means long term as a win/lose proposition. I did not expect The Rams to lay an egg at Seattle last year. And I still don't fully understand why it happened. The Hags weren't that good. I fully get why the season as a whole went in the dumper with the stiffness of opponent & all the key injuries, etc. But that first game still haunts me a little.

I honestly won't be devastated if The Rams lose but if they lose like that, I'll be worried.

Sorry, ClanRam; I don't mean to be channeling my inner Peoria & bumming people out . I do actually feel very positive but I'd be lying if I said I was confident.

If I were a betting man I'd have to agree...the Cardinals pash rush worries me but I think the opening day buzz at the dome carries us to a win.
