Hours after finalizing their draft, the Rams put the finishing touches on their 2008 schedule, announcing the dates and times for their preseason schedule as well as their May minicamp.
The Rams will begin the exhibition slate on Saturday, Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. against the Tennessee Titans. The Rams will travel to Tennessee during that week to train with the Titans leading up to the game.
A week later, the San Diego Chargers travel to St. Louis for a Saturday, Aug. 16 game, also at 7 p.m.
In keeping with the theme, the team will host the Baltimore Ravens one week after, on Aug. 23 at 7 p.m.
The Rams will wrap up the preseason slate on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. with the annual Governor’s Cup contest at Kansas City.
The team is expected to hold just one minicamp this season, scheduled for May 9-11. That minicamp is closed to the public.
The Rams will begin Organized Team Activities on May 13 and go three days per week until June 12.
The team will re-convene in training camp in late July. The location of that camp has not been determined but is expected to be in one of two locations in Wisconsin, either Wisconsin-Whitewater or Concordia University. Concordia is believed to be the favorite to become the team’s summer home.
