Grading the Rams after their 28-17 victory over New Orleans:

Quarterback

Some errant throws but no interceptions; Jamie Martin did enough to get it done.

Grade: B minus

Running back

A season-high 20 carries for Steven Jackson, who scored twice.

Grade: B

Receivers

Kevin Curtis came up big on a day when the Rams were without Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt.

Grade: B

Offensive line

With rare exception, kept Martin's jersey clean. Run blocking was hot and cold.

Grade: B

Defensive line

Held Saints under 4 yards a carry on ground; Tyoka Jackson forced huge fumble.

Grade: B +

Linebackers

Better on run defense, but still not getting out on backs quick enough in coverage.

Grade: C +

Secondary

Bounced back after slow start; Adam Archuleta and Mike Furrey had game-changing takeaways.

Grade: B +

Special teams

Coverage units good; Terry Fair's 35-yard kickoff return set table for second touchdown.

Grade: B minus

Coaching

Emphasis on winning takeaway battle paid off; how about that blitzing on defense!

Grade: B +
