Rams Report Card: A's for all on offense

    Monday, Dec. 25 2006

    QUARTERBACK
Bulger ties his career high with 4 TD passes and becomes the third Rams QB to
top 4,000 yards in one season, joining Kurt Warner, who did it twice, and Jim
    Everett.
    Grade A+

    RUNNING BACKS
Even with his fumble, Jackson takes another step or two toward being an
elite back every week. Davis chips in with his first Rams touchdown.
    Grade A

    WIDE RECEIVERS
    Bruce has his best receiving day since 2004 with 148 yards and nine receptions;
rookie tight end Byrd's first NFL catch goes for his first NFL touchdown.
    Grade A

    OFFENSIVE LINE
The Kiddie Corps comes through again. The line allows one sack in 38 pass
attempts, and the ground game averages 5.1 yards per carry.
    Grade A

    SPECIAL TEAMS
Not a good day at the office, with a blocked punt in the second quarter and a
missed field goal at the end of regulation. But McDonald's punt return was huge.
    Grade C-

    DEFENSIVE LINE
No sacks, but Little has a couple of key pressures. Righted itself on run
defense after a porous 2 quarters.
    Grade C-

    LINEBACKERS
Tightened up on TE Cooley as the game progressed; Coakley and R. Smith combine
for key 3rd-and-1 stop in overtime.
    Grade C

    SECONDARY
Atogwe's forced fumble with Chavous' recovery is a game-saver. Redskins WRs
    aren't a factor with 3 catches total.
    Grade A

    COACHING
The Rams carve up a pretty good defense Sunday; but Linehan's end-of-regulation
    strategy was, at best, curious.
    Grade B+

His line on jackson is just stupid. He doesnt need to take any more steps towards becoming an elite back. When you surpass 2000 total yards in a season, you ARE an elite back, end of story.

    ramming speed to all
