Rams Report Card: D's and F's dominate

    ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH
    11/21/2005

    Quarterback
Don't blame these guys. Bulger and Martin combined for 385 yards, with 3 TDs and 0 INTs. Grade: B

    Running back
Jackson didn't make the most of the few opportunities he had and was less than stellar on blitz pickup. Grade: F

    Receivers
Holt and Bruce, still playing at less than 100 percent because of injuries, had their moments. Grade: B

    Offensive line
The few times the Rams ran the ball, there always seemed to be one defender breaking free. Grade: D+

    Defensive line
Juggling the starting lineup here had very little effect on production. Grade: D

    Linebackers
Coakley and Claiborne continue to be more spectators than participants. Grade: D

    Secondary
Corners couldn't play tight enough on short stuff to give blitzers time to get to Warner. Grade: F

    Special teams
Just when you want to believe in these guys, along comes Reggie Swinton with a back-breaking 90-yard kickoff return. Grade: D

    Coaching
Never adjusted to Arizona's safety blitz; needed a TD, not a FG, with 3:35 to play. Grade: F

Actually there should be a couple of more "Fs" in there.

How could you not give the qb position an A. what exactly would you have liked bulger/martin to do that they didnt do. Giving them anything less than an A suggests that the loss means no one can get an A. Bottom line is that we win and lose as a team, but if we are going to rate players or positions individually, someone can have a great game while the team stinks. Just look at the numbers on the qbs

Completely agree! We manage 6 yards on the ground, yet still get 28 points. That alone tells you what kind of day Bulger/Martin had.

Couldn't agree with you more. An A it is!
