Rams Report Card: Failed defense falls on LBs, secondary

    12/24/2005

    Quarterback
Martin's career-high passing day was marred by two costly interceptions. Grade: B+

    Running back
An ailing and banged-up Jackson had little running room most of the day. Grade: D

    Receivers
Holt and Bruce did all they could to carve up the *****' inexperienced secondary. Grade: A-

    Offensive line
Pass blocking was exemplary, but run blocking was nonexistent. Grade: C-

    Defensive line
Strong pass rush - where has Hargrove been all year? - shoddy on run defense. Grade: C-

    Linebackers
Simply not enough help on run defense. Grade: F

    Secondary
The tackling by this unit, particularly at safety, was simply pathetic. Grade: F

    Special teams
Wilkins was excellent; Looker provided a spark on punt returns. Grade: B

    Coaching
Rams should have taken the field goal on 4th and 1 in the fourth quarter. Grade: D

I think Special Teams should have been a A+... They kept us in the game... Looker was givin us good Field Position and our Offense couldn't move the ball.
