Rams resign exclusive rights free agents

The Rams have resigned EFRA running back Arlen Harris, receiver Mike Furrey, and linebacker Drew Wahlroos to one-year contracts.

They've also signed tight end Mike Brake, running back Dusty McGroty, offensive lineman Matt Morgan, and linebacker Tony Newsom from the practice squad to the 2005 roster.

Somehow, I just don't think that any of the names on that list are going to make a difference next year, but who knows.

For that price, I'd rather have guys familiar with our system and what we're trying to do than street free agents who will have to be groomed and babied into our schemes.
