Outstanding! Also being reported is that the Rams will be wearing the SB34 throwbacks for that game.

My feelings about the return of Isaac Bruce is best expressed by paraphrasing Casablanca:
We'll always have Isaac Bruce. We didn't have... we, we lost him until he came back to St. Louis. We got him back today.
Here's looking at you, Rev.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

My only question is... does this mean I can't wear my Henry Ellard throwback jersey anymore?
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Well Deserved! Now forever immortalized! My feelings about this can best be expressed by quoting Old School...My feelings about the return of Isaac Bruce is best expressed by paraphrasing Casablanca:

Re: Rams to retire NO 80 jersey!!!!
I think I remember in an interview a while back, a reporter asked Bruce something like "Would you like to see #80 retired?" or something like that.
Bruce said something like "Sure, Ellard deserves to have his number retired."
Perhaps we could have Ellard/Bruce on the back of that jersey???

Re: Rams to retire NO 80 jersey!!!!
I'm glad some people on this thread have brought up Ellard. While us Rams fans certainly know and appreciate him, I've always believed Henry Ellard was one of the more underrated and under appreciated guys during his time in the league. Part of this, of course was because of the dominance of jerry Rice within his own division. But he was nonetheless a steady, productive player who got it done for years and put up big numbers without the fanfare or a look-at-me attitude. I also had the good fortune to meet Henry Ellard and talk with him for awhile last year at Jets training camp (He's their receivers coach). A very humble, soft-spoken guy.
I just hope Bruce's # 80 being retired doesn't make people forget Henry Ellard.
