Rams Running Backs

Steven Jackson looked pretty decent last night for having undergone back surgery in the off-season. Unfortunately, he normally misses 2-4 games a season due to injury.
Presently we also have Kenneth Darby, Chris Ogbonnaya, and Keith Toston. None of these guys have shown themselves to be a solid #2....or really even a gelatinous #2.
We missed out on Westbrook and Ladell Betts. Who do you see possibly getting cut from another NFL team that the Rams should sign?

Re: Rams Running Backs
Parker, Sutton, Mcgahee (I wish, heard he's on the block), Larry Johnson (heard he could be cut), Justin Fargas (heard he will be odd man out in DEV), DeDe Dorsey (local guy)

Re: Rams Running Backs
Derrick Ward is scheduled to make a lot of money in Tampa Bay this season but he's fighting to stay as the number 2 back there so he could be cut. Jerious Norwood is the 3rd back in Atlanta, he probably could be traded for relatively cheaply. Laurence Maroney might also be on his way out in New England.
Tatum Bell is probably the best FA left but I really doubt the team go after him.

Re: Rams Running Backs
Derrick Ward, I haven't heard that name yet. Had him on my fantasy team the last couple of years. Was a VERY pleasant surprise. Saved me more than once. If nothing's happened to him and he's in good health that wouldn't be a bad pickup at all in my book.
If a team won their division seven straight times, that would be a NFL record. Now add on that team did it with seven different QB's in seven straight years, that record is unbeatable. To do that feat, you must of had a great Defense. Jack Youngblood was the captain of that defense.

Re: Rams Running Backs
Laurence Maroney is rumored to possibly be cut from the Patsies. He's proven he can't carry the load and stay healthy, but he'd be great as a backup for Jackson IMO.
