Rams Scrimmages Against Titans - News/Photos

I'm TitanJeff with goTitans.com. I'm the Titans F2FA affiliate.

With the Rams coming to town next week, I thought I would drop by and invite all to visit goTitans.com for reports and discussion on the scrimmages which will be Wednesday and Thursday leading up to Saturday's preseason game.

We'll have a special Titans Training Camp section of our forum here where we'll have daily reports along with links to local media reports.

We'll also post photos each afternoon here.

With a week of training camp in the books, I'm sure the Titans are ready to go against someone new.

We also invite you to register so you can comment or ask questions. Due to some spam issues in the past, all members must use a pay email account which eliminates use of yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc. Members must also be approved by the admin manually (we'll try to get this done quickly).

One question while I am here: How's Bennett looking? He was a fan fav in Tennessee and many were sorry to see him go. He's going to get a lot of attention from the fans and media this week in Nashville.

My question is this. If Bell was such a good G for the Titans, why did they let him go ? Honest opinion on Bell if you please. Thank You

Bell is a solid guard. He's a converted tackle from college. His strength isn't run-blocking and that is what the Titans do the most.

If he had been a stronger run-blocker, I think the Titans would have paid him and used Eugene Amano (who now plays in his spot) over at the other guard position and not bring in Jake Scott.

And the Titans may have tried to keep him but you guys showed him the money. I honestly was sorry to see him go.

Bennett will get a lot of press here this week. Get ready.
