I usually make the trek over to Seattle to see our Rams in action and I will be doing just that this weekend.

This year will be special and unique since it is the debut of the SS era. So far, I have yet to witness a Rams victory in Seattle, but it does not stop me from attending.

Maybe, just maybe, SS and company can help to bring home the victory!

I'd love for this to be the year!

Here is a man who went into the most hostile of environments to support his team, then had to sit through the carnage and experience it first hand, yet is still able to find positives. Kind of makes me feel embarrassed at the way I felt after the game. Good for you Ferter.

I'd be interested to know if there were a lot of Rams fans there, how you were treated by the Seahawks faithful and what that walk out of Qwest was like.

There were a few Rams faithful there. Kudos to them because it is hostile and seattle hates the Rams. I'm sure they remember the season sweep and the playoff loss from 2005.

It's horrible! Seattle is full of DRUNK and RUDE fans! The walk out is long, slow, and brutal. Not violent mind you, but brutal nonetheless.

I'm just glad I didn't get any beer thrown on my prized, autographed #74 jersey. One of the event staff did comment that I should get the award for the best jersey in the house....lol

And we do have a good young team. They just got overwhelmed by the crowd noise and the refs.

Losing that blocked kick TD seemed to take the wind out of our sails!

Glad you and your jersey survived the experience and managed to come away with some hope for the future.

I'd love to hear some observations about the WR/TE play. So hard to tell what's going on in the secondary on tv unless/until a pass is thrown. On several occasions it seemed like Bulger thought he had nowhere to go even when the pass pro was good. Did you see open receivers or guys at least working back to him in those situations & he just played it too safe or what?

Oh yeah, the most striking Rams attire that I noticed was not a jersey at all.

I noticed a couple above me wearing the blue and yellow ClanRam T-shirts. Well, that strongly peaked my curiosity, so I promptly went on up to the gentleman and introduced myself. Turns out that he and his lovely wife are diehard Rams fans from accross the pond. From what I gathered they attend most Rams games. We had a short but nice conversation and then exchanged pictures.

Even though I was born a Rams fan over 40 years ago, meeting those folks was quite an inspiration to me.

They are true Rams fans. Most of the rest of us (myself included at times) are spoiled brat Rams fans. Imagine jumping accross the pond every week to see your beloved Rams play. WOW!

You know, putting that into perspective, there is far too much negativity on this board from spoiled brat Rams fans and armchair experts!

Hey St. Louis based fans: Get to the dome when seattle comes calling and make some noise. Pay them back for yesterday!

P.S. - I don't see where I can post the pics here! I'm not sure what happened to the good old days when I could post pictures? I've posted 100's of pics in the past, perhaps they don't trust me anymore....

you can post pics very easy mate

just go to your usercp and create an album, then load them on up you can create as many albums as you like.

One thing to watch is the size of the photos 600x600 will work and you can reduce them easy with the free programme Fotosizer Batch Image Resizer - Image resizing made easy

Good question Azul. I'm curious too about what the receivers were doing when Bulger was in the pocket looking to throw or trying to pass while scrambling (sounds so strange to say that, but it did actually happen). From what I was able to see on TV, it often looked like the WR's were unable to get free, forcing Bulger to throw the ball away. What did you see from your perspective Ferter? Was Bulger not finding these guys? Were they open? I'd be interested to hear what you have to say.

Seattle covered well. They played good defense and the crowd noise helped disrupt things for our Rams. The offense is very vanilla with it's wc passing scheme and young receivers. Bulger did his best. He did not miss any wide open receivers because there were none. We never established the run and the line did not run block well. Honestly, they really seemed to be overwhelmed by the crowd noise. It's not a wide open passing attack and it looks like it will be a work in progress with Bulger and the young receivers. So far it's basic dink and dunk wco. very conservative.
