    Rams Sign CB Al Harris

Rams agreed to terms with CB Al Harris.
Harris is now 36 years old and nearly two years removed from a career-threatening knee injury. He last just three games in Miami last season before the Dolphins pulled the plug. Harris did play under Steve Spagnuolo in Philadelphia, so he'll get one last shot to contribute as a role player.

If its cheap, whats the harm. I love Al Harris, and we need some wiley vets on D as it is. He's been in the game and can help the super young secondary we have.

really not much to think. He's going to be at most a nickel or dime corner and probably not even that.

He's a name at this point in his career, but if he can help to teach spags' defense then so be it. We need a bit of that savvy on D. As peramoure said, what's the harm?!

A savy vet that will play nickel with Murphy and King. Another nice pick up.

Plus he's a physical bump corner on the line. One of the more physical in the game. Throw him out there and let him jam all day.. Assuming he makes the team. :-)

Considering his age and his inury last year, I'm sure that this is a vet minimum with small signing bonus kid of deal for a very experienced good veteran who can give us that solid 3rd corner. I like it!
    I believe!

Teke is spot on like he is in most of his posts, but I hope it really is for the veteran minium or damn close to it.

Why not? Bring him in for the right price and see how he does. If he has recovered this could be a great pickup, and worst case is we see he's just not up to par and he is released.

You joke, but Harris started out playing the nickel excellently under Spagnuolo in Philly, so who better to come in and give some pointers to guys like Justin King and Jerome Murphy than the guy who made his name doing what they need to be doing?

Harris might get some game time, if he is healthy, but it's knowledge being passed down that i like the most about this pick up. And anyway, he has to be better than Kevin Dockery
