Fakhir Brown
Former Saints CB Fakhir Brown is visiting the Rams Tuesday. Brown played under Jim Haslett in New Orleans and could be the team's nickel back.
Dont know much about him to be honest

Re: Fakhir Brown
He's nothing to write home about. He would supply a little depth, if that. Also, I think he still has a DWI issue hanging over his head back home.

Re: Fakhir Brown
Him and Little would be best friends but really he would be around maybe a week and then released if we sign him. After pre Season he would be gone I think.

Rams sign CB Fakhir Brown to 5-year deal
Rams Sign CB Brown
The St. Louis Rams have signed CB Fakhir Brown to a five-year contract, the team announced today. Brown, 5-11, 192, spent the last four seasons with New Orleans after signing with the Saints prior to the 2002 season.
Anyone have any insight into Fakhir?

Re: Rams sign CB Fakhir Brown to 5-year deal
Obviously Haslett knew the guy, and perhaps his potential? I guess its a good signing if Haslett thinks we should have him, he knows his defense. But as far as stats or anything, I'm not sure at all....

Re: Rams sign CB Fakhir Brown to 5-year deal
i agree 100% with varg6. I know nothing about brown, but now that we have turned the defense over to haslett, a move that i approve of, we have to let him pick his guys within the appropriate financial constraints. Thus, pending the money, i am prepared to support this move. We all need to see the cap impact before drawing any conclusions. In Haslett we trust.

Re: Fakhir Brown
I dont see how we can conclude which of those guys we would rather have unless we know that they all want the same money. I defer to those that know more about the talent of the various options than i do, but, who i really want to defer to is haslett, who has coached the guy for four years. he is in the best position to know in my view.

Don't know much about him, but here are some stats:
In 2005, he played in 12 games, had 34 tackles and no ints.
His 2004 stats are actually pretty impressive:
16 games
54 tackles
2 interceptions
10 passes defended
2 forced fumbles
3 fumble recoveries
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!
