Five down, six to go for the Rams.

Tight end Jerome Collins became the fifth of their 11 draft picks in 2005 to sign when he agreed to a three-year contract.

Collins was the Rams' fifth-round selection and the 144th overall in the NFL Draft. He was primarily a defensive player at Notre Dame, playing defensive end and outside linebacker, before switching to tight end as a senior.

Collins, 6-4 and 267 pounds, caught six passes for 67 yards last season and excelled on special teams. He will play tight end for the Rams.
