Re: Rams Sign Glover
Ha, you beat me to it Milan. I just posted this and it looks like it has been removed. In my opinion, this would be great news when made official. Hopefully we can get Bruce signed now...

I like the news, I'd love it even more if he was a bit younger.

Re: Rams Sign Glover
I love it,I saw him on total access yesterday and he seems like a good guy and a pro bowler,I guess pickett isnot a priority anymore but if we resign him one of our weekest positions could be one of our strengths

Re: Rams Sign Glover
Glover is still playing at a Pro Bowl level and he will be a great teacher for the younger DTs like Kennedy.
Good signing for the Rams.

Re: Rams Sign Glover
ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Rams on Monday signed defensive tackle La'Roi Glover, who was released by the Cowboys last week.
Glover, 31, made his sixth Pro Bowl last season and finished with 26 tackles and three sacks. He has 71 1-2 career sacks, second all-time among defensive tackles behind Warren Sapp's 84 1-2.
Glover, who had 21 1-2 sacks in four seasons with the Cowboys, was released on Thursday.
The Rams need help on the interior line with Ryan Pickett and Damione Lewis both unrestricted free agents.
Bye ryan pickett???

I'd say Pickett may still be a priority. Glover is the interior pass rush that replaces D-Lew.
This move makes D-Lew expendable, not necessarily Pickett.

Wow,
Along with the Isaac Bruce situation, these are pretty exciting times for the off-season!
Can't wait to see what happens next!

Re: Rams Sign Glover
Good point HUBison. D. Lewis may have played his last game as a Ram. Resigning Pickett is still a priority. Although, if they can't get a CBA agreement done, then anything can happen.
Still, I like this move. Perhaps it is a sign of things to come in FA. Which is a good thing!

Re: Rams Sign Glover
Any financial details yet? This deal seems to have been done quite quickly, which either means that Glover is coming really cheap or he got paid more then he is worth.
Hopefully it is the former. I would love to resign Ryan Pickett though. Teaming La'Roi Glover, Ryan Pickett and Leonard Little would mean a decent pass rush at last

Re: Rams Sign Glover
How old is Glover? Sounds like he's as old as Sapp.
Did he really play at a pro-bowl level last year, or is he a perennial pick that made it more on his name?
I recall him being great with the Saints like a long time ago. I'm not doubting this move at all, just wondering if this guy really can still be factor?
