Rams sign No. 7 pick Chamberlain
By PFW staff
July 20, 2008
Suddenly the Rams are on a roll with their rookie signings.
A few hours after officially announcing that they had agreed to terms with first-round DE Chris Long, the team announced that seventh-round LB Chris Chamberlain had become the Rams' fifth 2008 draft pick to agree to terms, joining Long, third-round OL John Greco, fourth-round WR Keenan Burton and fifth-round OL Roy Schuening.
Terms of Chamberlain's deal were not disclosed.
The 6-1, 230-pound Chamberlain established the University of Tulsa single-season record with 165 tackles in 2007 and finished his collegiate career with 352 tackles and 12˝ sacks. The 352 tackles ranks as the fifth-highest total in school history.
Both Chamberlain and fellow seventh-round pick LB David Vobora are expected to make immediate contributions to the Rams' thin LB corps, as well as on special teams.
:D

Sounds good. Sounds like a player and a versatile player. Should be good on ST and as a good backup for Pisa and maybe Chavous. Hope he becomes a real gem.

I think with him, Vobora, Eric Bassey, and either Culberson or Draft to go along with Josh Brown and Donnie Jones, and either Dante Hall or Donnie Avery whomever it may be, we have a great special teams!
