Re: Rams sign Tony Fisher
Hmm. I know T. Fisher is -- or was -- a 3rd down kind of player. Good size at 6-2, 225. :football:
Building depth. Let's see what happens with Cason. // Thanks, 16.

Re: Rams sign Tony Fisher
Na your thinking of Najeh Davenport. In 2004 on ABC in Green Bay he had 19 carries for 178 yards and 1 touchdown with a 40 yard long.

Re: Rams sign Tony Fisher
You're right, MoonJoe!

Fisher's 2005 stats / NFL-CBS sports (BTW, he's 6-1, not 6-2; seems to be a good receiver):
GP Att Yds Avg TDs Fum
14 60 173 2.9 --1-- 2
Player News
Tony Fisher recorded 48 receptions, 520 all-purpose yards and two total TDs in 14 games (four starts) this season in Green Bay. He missed some time due to injured ribs and lost carries to Samkon Gado.
(Updated 01/06/2006).
Fantasy Analysis
Fisher is a free agent and could land with another team next season, so his value is in question. He's not expected to land a featured role, however, so Fisher will be no better than a late-round selection.

Re: Rams sign Tony Fisher
Good short-yardage back. Good size, good strength. Not a burner, but will break some tackles. Pretty solid depth signing.

Bob McGinn, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports free agent RB Tony Fisher (Packers) has agreed to a one-year contract with the St. Louis Rams. The contract is not for much more than minimum salary and contained a modest signing bonus.
Wow he was very cheap. I love the signing even more now.
Hopefully the Rams add one more Ex-Packer ... His name is Grady Jackson!RamsFan16

Re: Rams sign Tony Fisher
You reckon he could compete with Faulk for the backup spot (if Faulk does comeback)?

Faulk won't be a 3rd Down back. It will be.
