    Rams sign Trumaine Johnson

    Per rotoworld

Rams agreed to terms with No. 65 overall pick DB Trumaine Johnson on a four-year contract.
The Rams now have all 10 of their draft picks under contract. Johnson was a four-year starter at cornerback for small-school Montana, but there's heavy speculation he'll be moved to safety. If that's the case, he'll have an outside shot at emerging as a Week 1 starter opposite FS Quintin Mikell.

I hope they keep him at corner.I would like to keep him where he would have the biggest impact this year. Plus he has good size for a corner which will come in handy when we face a receiver like Megatron, Brandon Marshall, etc....

I love how one writer can write something that is pure speculation (trumaine moving to safety), and it all of a sudden becomes a rumor another "journalist" uses. Oh the Internet age.

On a bright side, love to hear everyone will be in camp, also it's nice to know all these rookies won't have huge contracts. Here's looking at you Chris Long, Jason Smith, and Sammy my boy. You guys are the last of the silver spoon rooks, the time is now to earn your money!

heavy speculation.......by people who are not employees of the Rams.

Correct me if I'm wrong (but I'm not), didn't Snead or Fisher come out and say they were not looking into any position changes for any rookies?

If its Bernie who's speculating, would that automatically make it "heavy speculation"?

    That...or a "weighty issue".

Still...I don't think it's that it's such a bad idea or that far-fetched. Facing Moss, Edwards and Fitzgerald, it's not bad having a taller, speedy saftey for help over the top, especially given the Rams', what looks to be on paper anyway, riches at cornerback.

This isn't to be construed as my saying he CAN play safety, just that if he could...and while I know if my uncle had breasts, he'd be my aunt, there may be a reason this speculation started.
